Gio Media Group (“we,” “us”) operates https://giomediagroup.com. This notice explains what information we collect through this site and how we use it. The site is hosted on Squarespace. Squarespace also processes information as described in its own Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Contact form

If you use our contact form, we collect the fields you submit: Name, Email Address, Subject, and Message (all required). We use that information to respond to your inquiry and manage the conversation.

Submissions are stored in our Squarespace account (where we can view, manage, and export them) and sent by email notification to our business inbox. We have not connected Drive, Zapier, or Mailchimp as form storage destinations.

Please do not put passwords, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive data in the message field.

Cookies, activity logs, and site analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies that help pages load and that help us (and our host, Squarespace) understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are viewed. Squarespace describes its own practices in its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site traffic (for example which pages are viewed and how people find the site). It is connected through Squarespace’s built-in Analytics integration.

Where appropriate, we ask for cookie consent before using non-essential analytics cookies. Squarespace can share those consent choices with Google for this native connection. Learn more in Squarespace’s Google Analytics help and Google’s Squarespace consent setup.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or message contents from our contact form to Google Analytics.

If we disconnect Analytics or change how consent works, we will update this section.

Embedded videos (YouTube & Instagram)

Some pages, including our video production page, may embed YouTube or Instagram players (not only link out). When an embed loads, those companies may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page you are viewing, under their own policies — sometimes before you press play.

Privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds reduce some cookie use until interaction, but do not eliminate third-party data collection. Instagram embeds use Instagram’s official embed code and scripts.

Our site cookie banner is meant to control Squarespace’s non-essential cookies and the native Google Analytics connection. It does not guarantee that every third-party video embed waits for consent before loading. If that changes, we will update this notice.

Other third-party services

Our pages may link to or load content from other services, including:

  • YouTube and Instagram (watch links and embeds)
  • SmugMug (existing code on the Works page)
  • Adobe Fonts (Typekit) for site typography
  • Squarespace infrastructure (hosting, forms, fonts delivery, analytics features)

Those providers process information under their own policies when you interact with their content or when their scripts load. Opening an external link takes you to that provider’s site.
